I personally have never read the ENTIRE bible word for word, and Im sure If I did and did understand it's complexity it would surly prompt more questions than it answered. I have of course read Genis several times and read and herd different parts of the bible quoted many times. ( Turn the other cheek and and eye for and eye are Opposites ) I say that because the bible teaches many things and apparently if you follow it word for word you will go to heaven, thats what we have all been taught to believe and for the majority we believe it, and for the most part this is true, but understand god is bigger than the bible.
Do what God says and obey him we are taught or you will go to hell. Let me start up the fight here. GOD DID NOT WRITE THE BIBLE, the Bible was written by men ( men are gods, we are all gods, so technically god did write the book but he did it with the hand he gave man to use for him, doesn't mean the man didn't put forth is own beliefs into the equastion as well, man even hid parts of it I'm told because they ( whoever they are ) believe it is not god for our society to know. ( we'll go into that more later )
We always speak of heaven and how perfect it is and how you could never want for another thing in heaven and all things are wonderful and you live forever with happiness and not wanting or needing anything. I say this because I came to pick a fight with bible thumpers and pushers. First, before I say this, The Bible is controversial and can be read many many different ways, and I for one believe in the goodness of the bible and what it teaches. AAAhhhhh I didn't say I believed everything in the bible or say I would follow it blindly.
( The bible was written by people so long ago that know one even knows the people who wrot it's favorite color, much less how words might of gotten got turned around an whole chapters an verses left out ) Our good bible sure leaves out allot about jesus and his childhood, not that I have read the whole thing, but really havent herd to much about jesus when he was a little boy.
